    In order to close comments you just need to go to Settings->Discussion inside your dashboard. I opted to close comments on posts older than 7 days, but that is because I was having big spam problems. If your case is not as severe then 30 or even 60 days would be fine too.

    Aug 05,  · I've found if you have a document that has so many comments that if there isn't enough room to edit/add your comment the Review pane will open. If more than one person has added comments/revisions then you might be able to turn off revisions for other authors to make more room. For this, on the Review tab, click Show Markup, point at Reviewers.

    If you are the author of a post or a neighborhood Lead in the same neighborhood as the author, you can close a discussion (also known as "disabling replies") to prevent further comments from members. This can be useful in instances where a thread has gone off-topic.
