Roy Of The Ravers follows up the Aphex recent live favourite Emotinium with four tracks of future acid for Acid Waxa. Opening with the high-tech funk of Supremacy Acid, Roy Of the Ravers gives an old sound a new, hi-NRG that verges on an almost spooky in texture tone.

Schofield slips the CD into a portable player sitting atop an unused washer. He's never heard the thing. "People come up to me at shows and want to talk techno, but I don't know a whole lot about it," he reveals. "I don't listen to techno, really. The reason I started [Container] is because Val listens to a lot of electronic music.

Mar 29,  · All of the signature Cocteau Twins tricks are present and correct on Milk & Kisses. The Lynchian dream-pop style that the band helped to pioneer is once more the core style of these songs, but there is also a little of the clear-headed alternative rock that made itself felt on preceding LP Four-Calendar Café.

Oct 11,  · I’m not a techno DJ. I’m not a house music DJ. I’m just a DJ, and predominantly a dance music DJ. I feel, with all these categories, it all goes *bang-bang-bang* - *bleep-bleep-bleep*. The lot of it, whether its techno, disco I’m not retained by categories, and anyone that’s really listened to me play will hear that.

Greg ‘Slugabed’ and Jake reveal their newly-minted label Activia Benz, inaugurated by Deech, originating from Minsk, Belarus. With ‘Urnite’ the producer reveals four heavily cinematic numbers - replete with pulsating bass, pitched up vocal samples and shuffling garage percussion - that work as well on the dance floor as they do for home listening.

Betty should not be confused with Betty Childs. Betty is an Omega-Mu who comes to the Tri-Lamb's party.
