    The sound samples only hint at the energy and do not totally capture Papa Jo's unique ability to lift up an ensemble for just his hi-hat. This is an important album that documents Papa Jo's skills as both a session leader and as a drummer. I recommend, however, that you first consider The Essential Jo Jones before making a final purchase 5/5(2).
