Brahms’ Piano Concerto No Brahms wrote his first piano concerto in Just over two decades later, he completed his second piano and gave the premiere of the work himself in Budapest in It’s one of the longest concertos ever written – although the composer wryly called it a “tiny, tiny piano concerto”.

The Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin was actually composed before his Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor. The F minor was begun in autumn and premiered on March, 3, , while the E minor was begun shortly after the premiere of the F minor.

Aug 02,  · Guess that`s pretty obvious, but Ravel`s slow 2nd mvt. of his Piano Concerto in G comes to mind. It`s really beautiful in it`s simplicity, although a tad on the depressing side. One has to be able to do a loooong trill at the end. I think Mozart P. Concerti are fairly accessible- my favourite is his Piano Concerto No. 20 in d minor.
